- Shoreditch based female DJ duo Sweet Dreams are the personification of eclectic. With hyper sets that see the girls dancing about in their own quirky fashion to everything from Wu Tang Clan to Annie Lennox, with a fair dose of Toto, Lady Gaga and Iyaz in between. The duo consists of stylists Kylie Griffiths and Tors Beedles. Neither are new to the scene with Kylie hosting one of the most talked about nights in Shoreditch ‘Gash!’, which when not playing its usual hip-hop and grime sees a list of guest DJs and live performances boosting the likes of Florence and the Machine, The XX and The Maccabees. Tors, a somewhat international party girl, spent a 3 year stay at Newcastle Uni planning how she could wreak her retro 50s brand of tomfoolery on anywhere and everywhere possible. Tors travelled around Europe and America, with a stop at Vice New York, before ending her trip in Sin City. She collected together her now unbeatable taste in what makes a night worth talking about. After meeting at the fashion desk of Vice Magazine, the two decided they needed to share their transcendently fun nights out with as many people as possible, and so their partnership started.
